SNEAK PEEK OF THE NEW CD!

So, you say you missed Joe Dobbs' "Music from the Mountains" weekly radio show last night on West Virginia Public Radio tonight?

Bad move, bunkie, 'cuz you also missed the sneak preview of the new, soon-to-be-released album, "The 1937 Flood Plays Up aStorm."

But if you're Web-worldly enough to be able to play .mp3 files on your computer, you've got another chance: We've saved that big moment to be re-lived on the Internet. Just come to the site -- www.1937flood.com -- and we'll queue about five minutes of .mp3-ishness for your enjoyment.

Background: Joe and his producer, George Walker, who also is the producer of the Flood's big new second CD were hosting an hour's live show as part of West Virginia Public Broadcasting's annual fund-raising drive. George was looking for Valentine's Day-related tunes to play on the show and he just naturally thought of the music of The Flood.

About midway through the show, George played this cut of "Alberta, Let Your Hair Hang Down," hot from that new album.

Enjoy!
