Joe was the subject of a four-minute feature on Outlook, the news program of West Virginia Public Broadcasting, on Sept. 26, 2002. The program, produced by Charles Berkeley, feature shots from "Music from the Mountains," from inside Joe's Fret 'n Fiddle music store in St. Albans, and jamming with The 1937 Flood at the late, great St. Zita's restaurant in downtown Huntington.
